Ryanair has confirmed a major Winter 2026 expansion in Warsaw, with 12 new routes across Chopin and Modlin. This gives stag groups more direct options, more seats, and easier city-break planning.
What is changing
At Warsaw Chopin (WAW) , Ryanair is adding seven new routes: Bari, Bologna, Catania, Liverpool, Naples, Turin, and Venice.
At Warsaw Modlin (WMI) , Ryanair is adding five more routes: Bratislava, Bristol, Manchester, Shannon, and Zagreb.
Ryanair also says it will base two more aircraft at Modlin, taking the total there to eight.
Why it matters for stag groups
More direct flights mean less time spent connecting, fewer logistics problems, and a smoother group arrival.
For stag weekends, that matters because it keeps the trip simple from the first flight to the first night out.
“For stag groups, these new Warsaw routes matter because direct flights keep the weekend simple. More nonstop options mean lower total costs, less wasted time in transit, and a much better chance of landing together in the right city and starting the trip smoothly.”

Airport transfer options
Private minibus or coach: best for larger groups with luggage.
Limousine transfer: ideal for premium arrivals and smaller groups that want a stronger first impression.
Party bus transfer: best for larger stag groups that want to start the night on the road from the airport.
Standard taxi or private car: works well for smaller groups and later arrivals.
Stag group note
Chopin is usually the easier airport for quick city access, while Modlin often means a longer transfer but cheaper fares.
For group bookings, it is worth matching the airport not only to flight price, but also to transfer cost and arrival time.
This update makes Warsaw even stronger as a stag destination, especially for groups looking for simple travel, good value, and flexible weekend options.
