Private Beer Bike Overview
Private Beer Bike Amsterdam is a 75-minute pedal-powered mobile bar experience designed for stag dos and group celebrations. Since 2017, the City of Amsterdam has strictly banned beer bikes from the historic city center and canal ring to reduce traffic and noise. Because of this, our fully licensed and legal beer bikes operate in the vibrant, up-and-coming district of Sloterdijk. This ensures your group can legally drink and pedal without police interference. The experience is perfect for groups of 6 to 15 people per bike who want to combine sightseeing with 20 liters of cold beer, all guided by a sober, professional driver who handles the steering
Your group will meet the host directly at Rhoneweg 1, located just a short 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. After a quick safety briefing, you will hop onto the bike, which comes equipped with a built-in beer tap, an onboard sound system for your playlist, and overhead protection against wind or rain. During the 75-minute ride, you will pedal through the Sloterdijk area while your designated sober driver navigates the streets safely. Drinking alcohol on regular Amsterdam streets is heavily fined, but doing so onboard our licensed beer bike is 100% legal. You can expect a fun, high-energy atmosphere with the option to upgrade your ride with extras like a surprise stripper or a fake "Stag Arrest".
- Group Size: A single bike holds a maximum of 15 passengers, with a minimum requirement of 6 people. For groups larger than 15 (like a 16+ group where the stag goes free), we run multiple bikes simultaneously.
- What is Included: You receive exclusive bike rental for 75 minutes, 20 liters of beer, and a professional sober driver.
- Weather and Dress Code: The bikes feature a protective roof, meaning tours run rain or shine. Wear comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for pedaling.
- Location: The starting point is under the train viaduct opposite Rhoneweg 1, 1043 AH Amsterdam. Do not go to Amsterdam Centraal; take the train or metro directly to Sloterdijk.
